Last year, when I joined Victoria school, I was excited and satisfied as I managed to enter my dream school. I knew that the academic standard in Victoria school is very high. Furthermore, I got into Victoria school via ‘Direct school admission’ but not through T-score. Therefore, I doubted myself if I could cope up with the studies.
I found the studies in secondary school is greatly different from primary school. Unlike primary school, we are not loaded with worksheets; we are treated as adults. However, in secondary school, we are given project works which is fun to do with group members as well as helps to be an independent worker. Internet is playing a vital part in these project works.
Last year, there had been a lot of events such as Victorian challenges Inter-School competitions, teachers day and children’s day etc. Victorian challenge was one of the biggest event where each class took up different tasks which has to be completed within 24 hours. We set up a BBQ shop where we sold sausages, corns and cold drinks and we made about $1500 which is more than our target set. We stayed all the day in school to achieve our target where we watched movies and played soccer in between. Victorian challenge held once in four years. Now, my nervousness and fear had been washed out and I truly became a Victorian. Nil sine labore. (240 words)

MY AMBITION
Everyone in the world should have an ambition. People do not believe in ‘Born-live-die’ must have the ambition to be someone who can contribute something to the society. Everyone has different ambitions to succeed in various fields. For example, more people would like to be a professionals in what they are studying such as doctors, engineers, and lawyers etc.
However, my ambition is to join the other batch of people by excelling as a sportsman. Currently, I am playing cricket for my school. Almost all people all people in India were crazy about cricket in which they celebrate more than any festival when the team wins. Meanwhile, the fans would not even hesitate to damage the players property when the team loses. They are crazy about the game in a way that they cannot even digest victory and failure equally.
Cricket is the game which I have learnt to play four years ago. My passion in the game brought me to the stage where I am one of the key players in the team as my teammates believe. In future, I want to represent my country in an international level where I am working towards. However, there is still a long way to go. I have to improve myself a lot in terms of fitness and techniques. But, I am very confident that I can fulfill my long term dream. (232 words)
